This project involved the complete redesign of the 2200 m² warehouse of HB Reavis in Rača. The main goal was to provide better illumination in the interior of the warehouse. The performance of the existing lamps was insufficient, having a short operating life and high energy consumption.

HB Reavis is one of the leading commercial real estate developers in Central and Eastern Europe with large scale office projects, shopping & entertainment centers, and logistic warehouses totaling 600,000 m² of gross leasable space.

The customer’s special request was to work with the following parameters: 200 lx inside the warehouse due to the need for better visibility and 400 lx in the manufacturing area for the purposes of frequent unloading and distribution of incoming goods. In some parts, the space included corridors 1 meter wide.

The original 450W metalhalogenid lamps in total of 71 luminaires were fully replaced with 150W and 120W DDK-LED HBE system. The energy costs after the installation of LED luminaires dropped by 61%. The expected return on investment of the project is 3.5 years.
