The goal is the overall modernization of stadium lighting system that will significantly lower energy consumption and leave a smaller ecological footprint.
ZS Senica is a sport arena with the capacity of around 3000 visitors. It is primarily used for ice hockey and as the home arena of HC Dukla Senica.
Our project proposal was based on the conclusions from the DDK-LED Technology Services audit that assessed the original lighting system as inefficient and outdated.
The new system following the current norms for illumination of stadium and sport arena lighting has parameters of 300 lx for training which was increased from the previous 150 lx.
30 psc of 2000W metalhalogenid lamps with energy consumption of 28,8 kWh were replaced with 200W and 300W DDK-LED FL systems with energy consumption of 8,5 kWh.
The energy savings after the installation of DDK-LED FL system reached 70%. The expected return on investment of the project is 3.5 years.
